Maths, IT, German, English and PE specialized classes
besides them there has been a Spanish-Hungarian bilingual class for 3 years.
The students can choose between Spanish and Italian as a 2nd language.
The school has 6
students with special needs and we try to concentrate on helping them in their
studies.
Our school has been an Educational Sportschool

talent keeper institution and in 2008 we won the title of DSD Language Exam
Centre as well. Our sport results are recorded an
respected nation-wide.
As for the education, appliances and opportunities reachable for our students:
They can have a lot of extra activities in the school. They can be members of

m2 assembly hall etc.
Among our traditions one can see the 'greeting of the 9th grade
students', the school leavers ball and reception,
concerts, exhibitions etc.
Our school paper 'Bolygató' - since 1994 - is
also very popular among the students.
We make strenuous efforts to develop our students' personality and widen
their intellectual horizon.

Bulgaria
SOU “Ivan Vazov” (Bulgaria)
is a general primary and secondary school, situated in the town of Sopot, Plovdiv region.
There are 635 pupils and 51 teachers at school.
Since Bulgaria
became a member of the EU a lot of attention has been paid to the economical
advantages and obligations and less to the cultural and natural benefits of our
membership. This might lead to a misunderstanding among the pupils regarding
the matter of the EU. Most of our pupils’ origin from working class low-income
families. Most of the pupils` parents are nowadays unemployed, so they have
financial problems. There are also many
parents who left Bulgaria
in order to find work abroad, so, many pupils are living alone or with their
relatives, without the guidance of their parents, having thus many problems
integrating in the school life.
There are 19 students with specific needs at
our school and some Turkish /6%/ and Roma /11%/ minorities, as well. Marginal
problems with school leavers are to be faced and through this international
project we want to ensure integration of the pupils. The social and cultural
situation in the region compels our school to assume the role of providing an
education for the real matter of the EU and in particular the cultural and
natural diversity and ethnic tolerance in Europe.
Our
participation in the Comenius school partnership
project would place our pupils inside the real science, cultural and
educational fields and create awareness of connections between the fields of
life and cultures. Participating in this project will strengthen the role of
education and training at both European and national level, improve access to
learning opportunities and reinforce the student’s motivation, and getting into a knowledge of science's
phenomenon.

Romania
Our institution is situated in Targu Mures a town in the heart
of Transylvania, the central part of Romania. Our school has a history
which goes back to 1557. Throughout the centuries the school has been an educational center for the region’s ethnic Hungarians. Although more
than 50% of the town’s population is Romanian, we succeeded in obtaining the
legal support to operate as a fully Hungarian institution. Being a Hungarian
school we have to pay special attention to the needs of students, staff,
parents and local institutions.
Currently we have a wide range of
specializations such as: English/German, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Social Studies. Our students have achieved outstanding
results on national and international levels throughout the years thus they
present high motivation in participating
in such a project, in order to widen their knowledge as well as their
experience by exchanging ideas and opinions with European students on European
values, multiculturalism, science and art
It will also provide equal chances of participating in extra school
activities, regardless of sex, religion or race, involving pupils and teachers
in activities related to the project. The project will be not only a great
opportunity of sharing experience, best practice examples and widening the
educational process with new teaching methods but also a chance to stimulate
communication on topics of interest using foreign languages
and ITC instruments.

Poland
Publiczne
Gimnazjum im. Jana Paw³a II w Stró¿y (Poland)
is a general secondary school and it’s the only such type of school in the
borough of Kraœnik. There are 305 students in age
between 13 and 16 years old who are taught by 30 teachers. Most of the
inhabitants from 7 000 population of this region are farmers and in accordance
with the data from 2008 about 400 young people up to 18 stay without any job.
Many families have financial problems.
There are also many, a kind of, single – parent families as one of the
parents left Poland in order to find work abroad.
Such kind of projects are very important for
our students. They open many doors and show many possibilities for better
future. They are even more useful and living up to our expectations as they
work through students’ interests and passions. That always gives good results.

Turkey
Our school is in the centre of Kayseri
in Turkey.
There are about 110 teachers and 2000 students at school. The education of
school is both in the morning and afternoon because of its mass. Our students
are from the families having a low income and medium level. We have a student
mass that is not rich enough. These students do not have any opportunity to go
abroad on their own. By means of these activities they will be able to see and
know different cultures. Because, for a better world, we need
to communicate with the other countries. Also they will learn to respect
to different cultures.
Owing to this
Project we will try to encourage our students and families. Maybe we can
contribute somethings to the culture and peace of world ,too. We (teachers and students)all
will try to do our best with the other partners.
We will teach the students working with groups and encourage to prepare a Project and learn a foreign language. By means
of international languages we aim to make a cultural exchange(music,
dance, art….etc.).We will make them to like Maths, Biology, Architecture…etc. We’ll try to show the pretty side of science. Kayseri
is a historical city which is very rich in architecture. So I believe that we
have required substructure to prepare this Project
